We are seeking an exceptional individual who is interested in natural health and healing, loves dogs and cats, and above all loves to create experiences for customers that are positive and rewarding. Our goal is to help people have the healthiest pets!
The Job Opening: Part Time (approximately 28 hrs/week), w/potential to grow into Full Time for the right person
Compensation: $13.50 to $15.75 per hour, DOE
Job Description:
The right individual is able to communicate effectively and read customer cues in order to provide knowledgeable and trusted service: Customer Service Excellence
Love of people and pets, and genuine desire to help
Passionate about nutrition and health (especially for dogs & cats)
Contribute to a positive, drama free, and happy work environment
Able to work as part of a team and independently, possess self-initiative
Have basic computer and math skills
Able to operate the POS and accurately handle cash
Great communication skills with diverse peoples
Able to work on feet, stand, kneel, bend, and reach overhead regularly for a full shift (with normal breaks)
Adhere to Attendance & Attire policy
Flexible availability and reliable transportation to work
Attends all meetings and trainings, including any after hours
Able to lift up to 40 lbs. (without trouble)
