Job Title: Accounting Intern
Digilent is seeking an Accounting Intern for our Pullman office.
DUTIES:
Assist in Accounts Receivable with customers
Assist in Accounts Payable with suppliers
Enter transactions into QuickBooks
Reconcile monthly credit card statements
Regular filing
Assist Staff Accountant and Controller with special projects
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Accounting/Finance major
Junior or Senior in upcoming school year
Willingness to work over university breaks
Knowledge of double entry accounting
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with Excel and other MS Office products.
Knowledge of QuickBooks
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Must be able to communicate professionally with customers and colleges
Must be comfortable communicating with customers on the phone
Must be flexible and able to work in several different areas
Looking for somebody with initiative and ability to roll-up their sleeves and take control of these functions and creatively solve problems as they occur
DETAILS:
Start Date: April 22, 2019
Hours: Office hours are 9am-5pm Mon to Fri. Intern work hours are normally 15-20 hours per week during school with potentially full time hours during summer months.
Pay: $14/hr
