Digilent is seeking an experienced Business Intelligence Analyst. The position will be responsible for driving and defining requirements to enable scalable and maintainable solutions aligned to business objectives. While defining effective requirements is a key part of the position, the Business Intelligence Analyst will lead and serve as a subject matter expert for tools and processes leveraged in R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, and Operations. These solutions may consist of new or changed processes, people, or technologies. We are looking for someone with strong initiative, drive for results, and passion for delivering value to our internal customers.

Responsibilities Include:

Cooperate with corporate IT and 3rd part IT consultant to ensure system and hardware operations

Gather and document business, functional, and reporting requirements

Create, prepare and monitor analytics and metrics results

Assist in cost/benefit analysis and process modeling

Perform as-is and to-be analysis

Provide recommendations for process and system improvements

Compose effective cross-team and inter-departmental communications

Define system supportability and assist in providing long-term production support

Assist with management, prioritization, troubleshooting and escalation of issues

Qualifications - External

Basic Qualifications

Relevant Bachelor's degree such as Operations Management or Information Systems

Experience communicating / presenting to middle and senior management, including executives

The position requires occasional unconventional schedules - after hours and weekends

Willing and Able to travel as needed

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERPs, Excel, and other tools needed

Self-starter - multi-task independently and in a team environment, often in ambiguity

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Solution-driven - identify/analyze problems and develop solutions
