The Moscow Food Co-op is currently accepting applications for a Kitchen Manager.

: The Kitchen Manager is responsible for the overall operation of the Moscow Food Co-op's kitchen. This position will manage the personnel, processes, and production schedule in the kitchen to ensure consistency high quality food and customer service. This position will be responsible for ensuring world class customer service to customers by providing high quality food while meeting goals for sales, margin, and labor. This position works collaboratively with the Prepared Foods management team to achieve consistent and quality results in prepared foods. This position will also work closely with the operations management team and the Store Manager to support achievement of the Moscow Food Co-op's strategic goals.

Required Qualifications

Commitment to the mission and goals of the Moscow Food Co-op.

High School diploma or equivalent with a minimum or two years kitchen management experience in a fast-paced, high volume restaurant or deli; or an acceptable combination of education and experience.

Proven knowledge of natural, organic, vegetarian and other specialty cuisines including various dietary restrictions.

Familiarity with the natural foods industry and the co-operative business model.

Supervisory experience with hiring, training, motivating, corrective action, scheduling, etc.

This position is a full-time, hourly position.

Part time positions are scheduled for 12 - 29 hours per week. Full time positions are scheduled for 35 - 40 hours per week.
