Our client is currently seeking a Program Business Manager Non Tech 2 to assist in their team s rhythm of the business (ROB) and have complete ownership and oversight of the team budget. This a Remote position with the ideal candidate residing in the PST zone. On-site option is available in the Redmond, WA area.Our client s team has grown substantially, so budget is more complicated with new people managing funds for the first time. The business manager will build and maintain tools to allow the team to know where they stand with budget at all times, schedule quarterly budget check-in and be responsible for forecasting back to finance quarterly. Likewise, the business manager will learn aspects of our client s business to assist leadership with team ROB - drive team meetings, quarterly business reviews, quarterly team newsletters, etc.Responsibilities:
- Set up infrastructure for the project to manage status, track progress to drive accountability and progress to completion
- Maintain and update project plan of record to identify key milestones, deliverable, and dependencies.
- Coordinate and interview MCAPS application owners to identify upstream and downstream systems owners.
- Document application metadata and data flow diagrams as needed.
- Develop dataflow diagram as needed.
- Upload metadata and data flow diagrams to system of record.
- Capture and summarize meeting notes post onboarding sessions.
- Track and work with application owners to complete Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)
- Develop key performance indicators or key risk indicators to surface risks identified.
- Ensure project risks and issues are documented and tracked for remediations
- 5+ years of experience in Project Management in a large and diversified technology organization.
- 5+ years of experience working with technical data related to system infrastructure, data flow, system metadata
- High level of organization, planning, prioritization, and attention to detail; program / project management
- Systems thinker, able to manage a high degree of complexity and to distill information into simple messages, able to think both strategically at a global level as well as effectively developing key processes.
- Strong interpersonal skills including the ability to build trust, influence, and foster relationships with diverse team members; ability to use relationships to drive consistency of approach and ensure delivery.
- 3+ years of experience in Project Manager roles
- 5+ years: Finance / Accounting Literacy (Own Budget and ROB)
- 5+ years: Excel and Power BI experience
