- You will be responsible for the design verification and qualification of OS images, firmware and drivers for different subsystems as well as the development of tools and infrastructure to automate that testing.
- The position involves working closely with electrical engineers, industrial designers, hardware engineers, software engineers, design verification engineers, component engineers, and program managers, across product development, compliance/safety, and reliability organizations.
- The main test methodology used will be black box and grey box testing.
- Other responsibilities may include updating test plan documentation, creating test cases, executing test cases, and designing test automation and automated reporting solutions.
- Contribute to the development of automated processes and methodology.
- Be very proactive and assist in the development of assignments and schedules.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related technical field, Master's degree may substitute for a portion of the related experience, or equivalent work experience/training.
- Experience testing with Android and has Android knowledge
- 2-4+ years’ related working experience.
- Relevant technical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to identify manual processes that can be improved through automation
- Have exposure to Designing/Testing software applications.
- Good understanding on Windows operation system architecture.
- Good English communication skill both oral and written required.
