Computer Vision Engineer

Seeking a skilled computer scientist with experience in 3D computer vision to contribute to our software client's cutting-edge 3D reconstruction engine! In this role, you will apply your skills in principles such as SLAM, photogrammetry, and structure-from-motion, as well as algorithmic coding as part of a small , tight-knit team of experienced engineers , most of whom sit right here in the RTP area.

This is a senior-level, direct-hire position in either the Redmond, WA HQ, the Durham, NC computer vision office, or for the ideal candidate, remotely from the US . Both locations are currently closed due to COVID and candidates will start remotely. Salary is open and flexible to accommodate market salaries for either location, and the total compensation package will also include strong benefits and stock options. Desired Qualifications of the 3D Computer Vision

/ Reconstruction

Engineer:

  • Master's degree or PhD in a related field is preferred; equivalent relevant experience in a production environment also considered
  • 5 -10 + years' experience contributing to high-performance production software related to the field of 3D computer vision or image-based 3D reconstruction; relevant high-level academic experience in the same field also considered
  • Experience with several of the following concepts:
    • SLAM (structured localization and mapping)
    • SFM (structure from motion)
    • Photogrammetry
    • Bundle adjustment
    • Multi-view geometry
    • Computer stereo vision
    • Artificial intelligence/Machine learning (AI/ML)
    • Augmented reality/Virtual reality (AR/VR)
    • Automatic tie points/automatic image alignment
  • Experience with C to write stable, efficient, and maintainable code
