Build engineer long term contract role and must be based out of Seattle WA area. Come join a great team and expand your skills!

Responsibilities: Debug and analyze build failures. Identify the root cause, and find ways to resolve it. Build, maintain and continuously improve an infrastructure for developer productivity pipeline team including source code repository, build tools and scripts, continuous integration infrastructure, packaging and deployment tools Establish and maintain agile development toolset, e.g., Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS). Establish processes and tools to maintain code base integrity, including check-in validation rules and branch/merge processes Requirements: Ability to learn new tools and technologies quickly and adapt under pressure Understanding software development lifecycle Understanding the basics of a compiler and how commercial software is built (MSBuild, Maven, etc) Experience in analyzing error logs o Experience and practical knowledge in reading and understanding

C, C#, XAML, HTML, Perl, PowerShell, Msbuild, VSBuild, SQL queries, project files. o Experience and practical knowledge in understanding system event logs and basic enterprise networking flow

Experience with o Source control: Azure DevOps (formerly VSTS) , GIT (common uses and methods) o Health/service monitoring systems (SCOM, OMS, Citrix, etc) o Helpdesk style ticketing systems (IcM, Techease, Zendesk, etc) Experience and practical knowledge of CMD batch scripting, Perl, and PowerShell Computer Science or developer background preferred
