Do you want to play a role in helping mature the management of third-party data protection contracting for the Microsoft Commercial and Partner Solutions (MCAPS) team?In the Trust and Integrity Protection (TrIP)’s third party team, we know that suppliers and partners are a key component of our delivery and sales strategy, but that this also increases our risk profile when we do. Having the right contractual terms in place to mitigate this risk, is a key foundation.We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic person to join our team and help design and implement the contact operation and management strategy!ResponsibilitiesThe key accountabilities of this role span across multiple lines of business in MCAPS and include;Core ResponsibilitiesContract management: Manage the end-to-end review and publication of TrIP owned contract documents e.g. third party specific data protection terms.

Negotiation: Develop the job aids, including annotated contracts, to help streamline third party discussions. Support discussions with suppliers directly, leveraging deep subject matter knowledge from the wider team of legal and domain experts.

Concessions: Design the framework and implement the process to ensure that concessions are documented, approved, and recorded.

Obligation management: Help design and implement an approach for monitoring compliance of the operational concessions reached during negotiation.

Has depth experience with contracting

Is comfortable talking to suppliers, negotiating contracts and holding firm to terms & conditions when required

PreferredHas experience with compliance

Is familiar with data protection agreements and privacy fundamentals

Professional services/consulting or support industry experience

QualificationsBS/BA college degree required.

5+ years in a contracting negotiation role

Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to work effectively across multiple groups, responsive with strong customer service orientation.
