Operations/HR Coordinator

Location: Redmond, WA (Remote as of now)

Contract Duration: 6-18 Months

Microsoft’s University Recruiting team is looking for an Operations Coordinator to help us coordinate recruiting activities with a heavy focus on data & system management.

Primary Responsibilities:You may find yourself working on any part of the back-end recruiting process, including but not limited to–
  • Using information provided by recruiters, recruiting systems, and reports to identify which position a candidate will interview for.
  • Managing a high volume mail inbox.
  • Owning the recruiting process from the point of an offer being accepted to the start date. Interact via e-mail/phone with approximately 450-500 candidates as well as recruiters and hiring managers;
  • Answering candidate/hiring manager/recruiter questions and problem solving
  • Creation and maintenance of all hiring requisition data.
  • Work in our recruiting systems and cross functionally with recruiters/hiring managers/admins to create positions and requisitions.
  • Required Skills:
  • BA/BS degree
  • Prior work experience and proven proficiency with Outlook and Excel
  • Organized, efficient, and detail oriented
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Solid written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to be resourceful in ambiguous situations
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision
  • Ability to proactively identify and escalate issues
  • Manage high volume work, multi task, and prioritize deliverables for multiple audiences
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Email inbox management
  • Patience/repetitive work
  • Minimum Qualifications:
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, cultural awareness, interpersonal, time management and problem-solving skills
  • Customer service and phone communication skills
  • Ability to effectively manage high volume
