Machinist - Level 3

As a Machinist 3 here at Honeywell, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our machining processes run efficiently, safely, and in accordance with quality standards, while optimizing production schedules. You will work with a team of skilled technicians and collaborate with other departments to meet production goals and customer requirements. Your expertise in machining will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our manufacturing operations to increase savings and better serve our customers. You will report directly to our Machining Supervisor, and you’ll work out of our Redmond, WA location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the efficiency and quality of our machining processes, contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.Pay TransparencyThe hourly pay range for this position is $31- $36. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerationsKEY RESPONSIBILITIES Set up and operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision partsInterpret blueprints, sketches, and engineering specifications to determine machining operations Monitor and adjust machine settings to ensure proper dimensions and finishes of parts Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status.YOU MUST HAVE 3+ years of experience as a machinist Proficiency in operating a variety of machine tools Ability to interpret blueprints and engineering specifications WE VALUE Technical degree or certification in machining or related field Experience with CNC machining Strong problem-solving skillsHoneywell is an equal opportunity employer.
