Redmond, WA MICROSOFT CORPORATION seeks one Program Manager in Redmond, WA. Coordinate program dvlpmnt of comp. softw. apps, systems or svcs working w/dvlpmnt & product planning teams. Write functional specs and apply principles & techniques of comp. sci., engg., or math. analysis. Areas of resp. span the prod. life cycle and incl. owning or contributing to the vision & strategy creation for the prod. or service, designing all areas of the prod. or service, and managing implementation to support the prod. or service release. Also resp. for overall comm. w/in the team, w/ other business groups, and w/ customers & partners. Work on specific softw. features or sections of code. Understand the prod. vision in order to align softw. feature priorities. Understand customer and partner needs in order to create specs, designs, or plans for softw. feature areas or projs. Remove obstacles and influence consensus within his or her software feature or project team. May be assigned to various projects that utilize the req. skills to deploy successful prod. or services releases, from early prod. definition & scoping to detailed specs, implementation and roll-out phases. 40 hrs/wk, M-F, 8am – 5pm. Standard co. benefits. Salary $124,344 to $144,344/yr. Req: Bachelor's or foreign equiv. degree in Comp. Sci., Engg., Math., Info. Sys., Physics or a rel. field. and 6 months software-rltd., centralized and coordinated program/proj. management experience, or exp. in designing, developing and releasing softw. prod. or services utilizing C, C, C# or other high-level programming language. Pos. also reqs. educ. or exp. in: Cloud Development; Data Structures; Managing software or business processes for operations, systems, projects, tools or policies; Scripting; SQL and/or T-SQL; Virtualization Platforms; and Web UI.
