• Can understand CVSS scoring methodologies – not just understanding what it is but can also speak to the different attributes in the score and how they are calculated.
• A background/degree in computer science is nice to have.
• Nice to have experience in vulnerability scanning tools (Qualys, Nessus, etc.)
• Has a strong desire and ability to learn.
• Experienced in gathering and analyzing data using structured query languages.
• Knowledge of SSL, Windows Server, Linux, Networking

• Azure Security is looking for a Security Analyst with strong technical skills who will focus on Vulnerability Management for Cloud + AI Platform. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter that has a strong ability to solve complex issues with little to no guidance. We are looking for someone that is passionate about security and wants to improve the security posture of C+AI services through providing quality data and valuable business insights.

• Providing actionable intelligence and analytics that will make our products and services safer.
• Work with various teams to identify and assess different vulnerabilities and risks in a server environment.
• Be able to tell a story from the security monitoring data through enriching with other data sets and dimensional data.
• Provide trend analysis, variance analysis, findings, and insights and then then work with stakeholders to articulate what actions are needed or being taken on each scenario to drive or improve our security baseline service profiles.
• Collaborate with product and program owners across the organization to understand objectives, identify opportunities, and prioritize projects to maximize business impact.
• Develop, implement, document and maintain various security projects and operating procedures.
