Supports communications related to strategic initiatives, business development efforts, and special projects in the Commute Solutions team. Supports communications related to company initiatives, conferences, and corporate marketing and branding. Responsible for the day-to-day workflow and success of the Commute Solutions team and Commute Solutions Director.Manages comprehensive communication across Commute Program.Understands the issues employees are experiencing.Customer service oriented.Facilitates customer concerns to appropriate parties.Owns and drives consistency across communication platforms.ADDITIONAL ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESWrites, edits, formats, publishes, and distributes employee communications, including one-off, weekly, monthly, and quarterly messages and publications.Develops and implements change management strategies and plans for new programs, initiatives, and rollouts.Collaborates with executives and other business leaders to develop messages.Develops communications plans and messages for significant corporate security, business continuity, and/or emergency events.Develops communications plans and messages for corporate events, including conferences and other large-scale meetings.May manage the information flow provided, such as press releases, feature stories, and by-line articles to external channels.Helps develop and write corporate policies and proceduresEnsures compliance with company standards with the company logo and consistency of marketing products.Works with clients to develop marketing concepts and design marketing materials.Conducts quarterly conference calls to present latest marketing tools and resources.Responsible for the career development of team members and continual improvement of work productPerforms other duties as assignedADDITIONAL SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESManages the planning, organization, and controls for a major functional area or department. May be responsible for a mix of direct and matrix reports. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area. Recommends staff recruitment, selection, promotion, advancement, corrective action and termination. Plans and monitors appropriate staffing levels and utilization of labor, including overtime. Prepares and delivers performance appraisal for staff. Mentors and coaches team members to further develop competencies. Previous Team Lead or Supervisor related experience preferred.COMMUNICATION SKILLSAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret the most complex business documents. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive issues. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write reports, manuals, speeches and articles using distinctive style. Ability to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, top management and/or public groups. Ability to motivate and negotiate effectively with key employees, top management, and client groups to take desired action.FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGERequires intermediate knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.REASONING ABILITYAbility to comprehend, analyze, and interpret complex documents. Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires advanced analytical and quantitative skills. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations and develop strategic solutions that have a direct impact on the company.OTHER SKILLS AND/OR ABILITIESAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
