We've rebuilt Edge around the Chromium open-source project, laying a foundation that has been well received. And now the browser space is ripe for innovation. It is time to build a better experience for the web. High quality insights on customer behavior play a key role in this. Our team is responsible for providing these insights from data, experimentation, and customer feedback. We are sitting on a treasure mountain of data. We need to mine it and help the Edge feature teams measure whether they are delivering lasting user value and creating a positive reputation for Edge. We need to find the most promising levers for sustainable growth, and drive applying these levers across the Edge feature and partner teams.We’re looking for a Senior PM with a passion for improving products through data, technical chops to lead building a world-class data infrastructure, and a capability for working collaboratively with partner teams to drive ambitious growth projects.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with Data Science, Data Engineering, and Edge feature teams to extract actionable insights on feature usage, product retention, and user sentiment.
Apply end-user journey understanding to guide most promising direction for data mining endeavors.
Work with our engineering team to improve our data, experimentation, and feedback systems and democratize data access for Edge feature teams.
Work with our data scientists to develop state-of-the art metrics that are most helpful in driving team behavior toward product improvement.
Collaborate with other Edge teams and partners to drive action on identified insights and levers for growth, and sometimes design and drive growth-hacking projects executed directly by our team.
QualificationsRequired:4+ years of Program/Project Management or related experience
Preferred:Great communication skills, both written and verbal, with an ability to convey an appropriate level of detail for each target audience, including executive leadership. Ability to explain large, complex systems, in simple-straightforward language.
Technical problem-solving skills and ability to engage effectively with engineering on technical challenges and architecture approach.
Experience in cross-team collaboration and executing in multi-team partnerships. Ability to navigate contentious situations and align partner needs.
Experience with data and experimentation not required, but highly beneficial.
