Digital Workplace deals with creating and operating work environments that are comfortable, functional, collaborative, and efficient. It enables employees to realize their potential and helps Microsoft achieve more significant business results. Microsoft Digital Workplace team provides global employees with a wide range of services essential for team collaboration and innovation, including dining/catering, shuttle/commute, meetings, reception/office upgrades/maintenance, and emergency prep and security. As an indicator of the scale of operations, this team covers 44 million square feet of office space, encompassing 600+ buildings across 100 countries.Location: We are hiring in the following locations: Atlanta, Redmond, and fully remote – USResponsibilitiesWorking collaboratively with top engineers across Microsoft to drive effective technical solutions

Coordinating with Microsoft Digital and Product leadership teams in project and strategy reviews

Driving the company’s strategy and technical/data architecture for key technologies to achieve cross-company goals and alignment

Architect, design, develop, and deliver high quality software that powers ever increasing demands of availability, reliability, security, and performance of IT core tools.

Stay on top of industry trends, standards from security and scalability perspective to Lead and influence design decisions to build services right ground up.

Driving code and design reviews and take them closure

Collaborate with multiple partner teams, analyze their requirements, prioritize and drive features to closure with very high quality.

QualificationsBasic Qualifications:6+ years of software development experience in full product cycle: design, development, release and maintenance

6+ years of experience delivering scalable and resilient services at large enterprise scale

BS degree in Computer Science or related engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications:Strong Azure Dev Ops (formerly Visual Studio Team Services).

Experience with Agile project management techniques.

Passion for using data and analytics to drive business value.

Excellent interpersonal and group dynamic skills

Strong written & verbal communication and presentation skills

SQL (or NoSQL), or analytics is a plus.

Familiarity with Microsoft .NET technologies (C# and the .NET Framework) and/or competitive offerings (e.g. J2EE, WebLogic or WebSphere). Candidates should have previous experience with multiple product release cycles

For Colorado, the salary range for this role is from $126,900 to $190,400.At Microsoft certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.Benefits/perks listed here may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Microsoft and the country where you work.
