- Work independently to turn image/video processing algorithms into software implementations.
- Create/maintain build and test coverage for software projects.
- Help conduct experiments for compression research. Write scripts and tools to visualize and analyse data.
- Proficient in C/C. 5+ years of coding experience.
- Good at writing code and fixing complex bugs in the code.
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering required.
- Experience working with image/video/graphics/rendering pipeline.
- Familiar with source control system (Git, Mercurial, etc).
- Experience with Python.
- Experience working with internals of image/video/graphics processors (resizers/color converters/filters) and/or codecs (H.264 and/or H.265 and/or VP9).
- Experience building extensive test coverage for APIs and libraries.
- Familiar with build tools and configurations (makefile and/or cmake etc.). Can create and maintain build files for large/complex software projects.
- Familiar with video encoder configurations for x264/x265/VPx.
- Experience in evaluating quality of image and video codecs.
- Experience with FFMpeg API and command-line tool.
- Experience working on graphics rendering pipelines.
