You will work under limited supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented engineers, as part of the Supplier Transformation Organization. You will contribute to business success of Honeywell Aerospace by developing and executing transition and substantiation plans as part of a broader team of sourcing and engineering professionals. The job offers a unique opportunity to work on different types of parts and with many dedicated supplier, customer, and Honeywell teams. Key Responsibilities · Identify and evaluate potential supplier capabilities · Evaluate drawing requirements and coordinate with engineering design authority · Resolve missing requirements. · Propose qualification and transition plan for parts · Coordinate with Honeywell stakeholders including procurement, engineering and business teams · Provide on-site supplier visits and status · Assist product and process certification · Ensure project and product compliance · Present to leadership and external customers · Consult with vendors and suppliers · Assess and communicate risks of potential supplier plans YOU MUST HAVE · Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering · 2 years’ experience WE VALUE · Individuals who are self-motivated and able to work with little supervision, who consistently take the initiative to get things done. · Supply chain and cross functional experience · Understanding of basic export regulations · Ability to influence cross-functional teams to deliver optimal solutions · Ability to consistently make timely decisions while balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness in an ambiguous environment · Clearly and concisely convey subtle or complex messages to a variety of audiences · Ability to make business decisions and adapt when conditions change. · Multi-tasking and the ability to manage a variety of complicated tasks and people Honeywell is an equal opportunity employer.
