Join eXcell!We re currently in search of a qualified Desktop Support Technician to join our client, and successful aerospace manufacturer for an on-site position in Redmond, WA.Job Duties:Assist users by performing the following activities
- Troubleshoot system, office, hardware, and business applications
- Desktop support and troubleshooting
- Imaging of desktops
- Movement of workstations
- Support users during desktop/laptop refresh and break/fix
- Work in Customer's Helpdesk during downtime
- Perform desktop level technical activities as per Site Lead's instruction
- The ideal candidate will be established in Deskside Support - hardware, active directory, lifecycle of hardware, imaging, deployment, break-fix, coordination with vendors (ex: Dell, follow agreements) someone with
- At least 3-5+ years' experience and the more experience the better and again must be a generalist.
- In need of someone who is organized, can coordinate activities, good follow through, strong customer service, patient and must be able to multi-task.
- Understanding of networks, voice, infrastructure as they will be dealing with server guys - what is causing the problem and work with the appropriate teams
- They will be supporting all levels of users from shop floor to C-Level Executives.
- Will assist with teleconferencing, meeting rooms, video and other equipment.
- Need to have tactical competency, have a defined troubleshooting process no matter what model they use. Ex: OSI model - they can work through the application layer or can working it backwards.
- Must have strong customer service, must be able to handle some simple things that will hit their desk.
