Our world-renowned client is looking for a talented User Experience Researcher who can plan, guide, and execute on a wide variety of user-centered research projects including field research, user analysis, and consumer surveys. It's for a fast-paced project where the person needs to be able to grapple with ambiguous problems, bring clarity, generate insight quickly from research sessions (mostly qual) without relying on going back to videos, and be open to feedback. Qualifications:
- 3+ years of industry experience conducting user research / design research and effectively partnering with development teams to improve the user experience based on research results
- Experience using varied user research techniques at various stages of the development process (e.g. lab usability studies, heuristic evaluations, surveys, field research / ethnographic techniques)
- Critical thinking skills - working within limitations of a study to arrive at solid insight; ability to disentangle what's really going on and provide a UX point of view
- Experience creating usability test plans and running large and small tests
- Accurate measurement and precise reporting of usability data and other research data
- Excellent collaborations and presentation skills
