Position: Windows Systems Admin Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA 98052 Duration: 3-6 month CTH If you are interested in this position please email your resume to Victoria Conley at vconley@apexsystems.com. MUST HAVE

  • 2+ years of experience as a systems administrator in a windows environment
    • VLANs/logical firewalls
    • Clustering - Load balancing/resource sharing
    • Active Directory - make a new tree/import from existing and make new GPO's (group policy object)
    • virtualization - Hyper-V
    • cloud computing - working knowledge of creating new VM's in Azure
    • Automation scripting (Powershell preferred but open to others)
  • Experience performing server updates, patching, and maintenance
  • Professional demeanor and appearance; look presentable and speak professionally as they are interfacing with executives
  • High level of customer service
NICE TO HAVES
  • Linux experience
  • Kubernetes
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or 3+ years of datacenter work experience.
  • Certifications
  • AV trends & networking principals. (audio visual)
  • Mentoring/training of JR team
