Job Description Role: QA Tester (Wireless) Location: Boston MA/ Jersey, NJ ( Day1 Onsite) Fulltime/Contract JD: Education: Some College | Associates degree in IT or CE/EE Years of Experience: 3 yrs+ In telecom. Technical Background: o Understanding of Wi-Fi AC/AX Protocols o Deep understanding of 7 layers of OSI (in order to troubleshoot and analyze) o RF Background (wi-fi preferred) o Mastery of WLAN|LAN Network Routing o Understanding of WAN routing (Cellular Edge to Core routing necessary) o OFDMA understanding preferred Skill Sets o Scripting Ability (decent coding knowledge in Python or better) o Ability to do Statistical Analysis (Excel or other DB program) o Ability to understand Testing output and decipher performance across test on all networking Layers. Testing background o Experience with Octoscope/Spirent and Ixia/Keysite Testing equipment: Load Generators RF Scanners/Sweepers EVM Analysis MOS Score testing Veriwave Experience is a plus Octoscope Test Suite a Plus Dekra Experience a Plus o IPerf experience o PCapping Experience Other: o Self Starter who we can leave and will do testing to stats analysis. Be able to troubleshoot environment issues and reach out to vendors for assistance.
