Virtualization Service Automation Test EngineerHCL Technologies Redmond, Washington, United States (On-site)Save Apply Job Description:The position is part of a team that collaborates with Labs and Operations teams in the development of workflow automation capabilities. This person is responsible for testing Virtual Function deployment and configuration workflow automation tools.Roles and Duties include:· Documenting step by step procedure for carrying out test cases.· Executing, completing and documenting all assigned test cases during a (AGILE) testing Sprint· Participate in Testing discussions/scrum meetings.· Participate in developing Test Cases that verify that all Project Requirements are met.· Creating iTrack/Jira tickets for issues discovered during testing, updating and closing tickets.· Collaborating with the development team on issues discovered during testing.· Supporting Production Users of our tools on issues discovered in production. Analyzing the issue and creating tickets against the appropriate team (e.g., Development, Device teams, ECOMP teams)Key skills needed (in priority order):· 4+ years of experience in testing· 2+ years of experience testing in a Linux and/or Solaris-based environment· 3+ years of experience in writing test cases· Experience with AGILE development/testing process· Experience with creating test tickets. In particular, experience with the iTrack/Jira ticketing system· Experience with testing Workflow engines. (In particular, experience with Itential workflow engine is a plus.)· Experience with MongoDB· Understanding/experience with JSON· Experience with Virtual Network Function· Experience with K8s· Experience with OpenStack and VMware· Understanding and experience with Mobility Network Elements· Experience with Azure and Azure DevOps (ADO)· Experience with test automation tools· Self-driven, teamwork oriented, and good communication skills
