Find your future with us.Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Customer Engineering Technical Specialist - Customer Engineering to join teams in both Everett, WA and Renton, WA .The Technical Specialist will partner with Engineers in producing customer specific requirements (such as airplane interior layout, exterior livery paint scheme, passenger seat selection, etc.) for their new airplanes. Assignments may include some or all phases of the products’ lifecycle – from airplane definition to airplane delivery and through the closure of delivery commitments. These tasks include Customer Introduction; Change Processing; Configuration Control and Maintenance of Configuration Documents; Schedule Support; and airplane Delivery Support. If you have a passion for airplanes, this position will teach you about the airplane nose to tail.This position is hybrid. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed locations options. Everett, Renton WA. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.Position Responsibilities:

Supports experienced personnel in the maintenance and development of product structure definition. Gathers data from identified sources and reviews data for missing information and accuracy.

Supports the configuration of verification audits. Identifies tool enhancements. Gathers established metrics to support continuous process improvement.

Coordinates integration changes to maintain product configuration control and traceability of authorized changes and variances.

Supports more experienced personnel in generation of product configuration data required for certifications and flight clearance notices.

Processes variances associated with non-compliant products in order to satisfy product integrity and customer requirements. Collects and organizes data to support business decisions.

Participates in summarizing findings, developing conclusions and recommendations to develop product offerings. Works under general supervision.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Associate degree or higher

Familiarity with configuration and change management

Familiarity with aerospace or manufacturing

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)

Familiarity with configuration and change management documents

3+ years of aerospace or manufacturing experience
