Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Senior EHS Systems & Technology Manager to join the Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) team in Renton, WA .The primary role of the Senior Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) Systems & Technology Manager will be to support development and directly lead implementation of management system improvements and technology that drive field and accountability from every level of the Enterprise so that risks are uncovered and resolved as they surface. The role will work with key partners to gain a comprehensive understanding of the current state of Boeing’s Management System so that the vital improvements are made to elevate overall performance in the integral areas of Safety, Quality, Production, and Environmental. The role will use lean principles to facilitate groundbreaking and systemic change where needed and provide support to Product Development and Future Production Systems.The focus will be on strengthening and simplifying work processes by advancing leadership engagement, governance, and technology application. The role will lead an organization of Systems Engineers, Risk Engineers, Technologists and Subject Matter Authorities to deliver daring change for the function and the Enterprise by ensuring effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of the Boeing Safety & Environmental Systems. The EHS Senior Manager will implement systems improvements and technology to deliver policies, procedures, programs, and risk-management control that elevate workplace safety culture along with model behaviors. This effort will fully align with the Boeing Production System, Product Quality, and the Aerospace Safety Management System.Primary Position Responsibilities:Serve as a business partner with key collaborators to implement work processes, technology, and management systems that prevent injuries and enable high quality by influencing leaders at all levels from Senior Executives to the shop floor employees of the benefits of the groundbreaking changes

Further a Safety Culture while ensuring environmental compliance by helping leadership enable standard practices, reduce risk normalization, deliver a balanced management system, and ensure accountability for safe behaviors.

Making step change performance improvements by operationalizing lean principles

Delivering programs and technology advancements that build safe working conditions while improving efficiency and quality

Building visibility through predictive indicators, performance targets, and near miss & hazard reporting and resolution

Enabling Assurance System that drive continuous improvement in the areas of environment, health and safety compliance

Other Position Responsibilities:Leads and integrates employee and management activities across more than one environmental, occupational, health and safety field

Support development and directly lead implementation of management system improvements and technology that elevate overall performance in the integral areas of Safety, Quality, Production, and Environmental

Develops and implements integrated interpersonal plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

Acquires resources for interpersonal activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

Develops and manages relationships and partnerships with customers, collaborators, peers, partners and direct reports

Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

Leads, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options .This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):10+ years of experience in leading informal and/or formal teams

10+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) and/or operations engineering

5+ years of experience in supporting research and/or testing environment (lab/flight)

Travel 20% of the time

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelors degree or higher

Associate Safety Professional or Certified Safety Professional certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals or equivalent EHS certification
