Tyler Technologies is currently accepting applicants for the position of Deployment Project Manager to oversee the implementation and coordination of Deployment Team engagements Tyler's ERP Deployment Team. The Deployment Project Manager will manage all the tasks for the teams required to deploy, upgrade and migrate SaaS and on premise ERP clients. The Deployment PM will play a key role in communicating and reporting status, projections, progress, risks and issues to all stakeholders.

By working to develop and support our financial management solutions, you can help integrate our solutions with human resources, revenue management, tax billing, and asset management.LocationRenton, Washington | Yarmouth, Maine | RemoteResponsibilities- Work with the Infrastructure, Networking, Hosting Operations, Support, Implementation, ERP Technical Services teams, LGD Technical Services teams, Tyler Forms Design, Sales, and Client to deliver coordinated services and fulfill contractual obligations.
- Conduct planning sessions with leadership and analysts to create project plans for installs, upgrades, and migrations for ERP clients.
- Publish a summary of key dates and issues to all Tyler employees involved in the project, such as development, implementation, support and leadership.
- Coordinate after-hours implementations, deployments and/or project work for hosting services and report status success/fail to leadership, support and business.
- Conduct planning sessions with the teams to create task breakdowns (WBS), RACI charts, and plans for building out a new environment and bringing new customers live.
- Schedule resources, assign responsibilities, and monitor progress to ensure compliance with the build, migration or upgrade plans, immediately notifying affected parties of any schedule changes.
- Develop the deployment project plan and officially start new client installations by conducting kick-off conference calls with clients. Plans include ensuring hardware diagrams are completed, work with the Deployment Coordinator for scheduling, and ensuring expected responsibilities are communicated.
- Coordinate across Tyler Departments and Divisions for Total Tyler contracts to provide seamless Deployment coordination.
- Act as a single point of contact for Implementation Project Managers and New Clients for the initial Deployment, outstanding issues, pre-LIVE technology needs to be provided by the Deployment Team
- Obtain regular feedback from clients regarding project status and quality of service and take immediate corrective action as required.
- Conduct high-level discussions with existing Munis clients and provide technical options for their migration to new technology or purchase of additional Tyler products.
- Prepare and/or maintain accurate lists of Tyler clients to be targeted for technology upgrades due to changing technology and provide Sr. Management with progress updates on those efforts
- Notify clients on Retired Product of pending deadlines
- Provide Sales Quotes for Deployment services and additional licenses needed for hardware migrations, version upgrades, and miscellaneous technology services.
- Process Signed Quotes into Product Order Forms
- Bachelor's degree in business, computer science, MIS, or comparable experience.
- Prior project management experience.
- Basic knowledge of server hardware and network configurations, including web servers.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft OneNote, Visio and InfoPath.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks in a fast-paced, technical environment.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a positive, professional attitude.
- Requires coordination with after-hours team members outside of standard business hours.
- Strong negotiation, conflict resolution, and persuasion skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel.
