Robert Half is seeking a Systems Administrator for a Wireless Communication client located in Renton, Washington. The primary responsibility of this Systems Administrator is patching and upgrades to support vulnerability remediation. Our client is also looking for candidates who are flexible and eager to help out across the entire environment when needed. Additionally, this Systems Administrator opportunity is a contract to full-time opportunity that is primary remote in nature, but will need to be onsite in the Renton office on occasion, so we will only consider local candidates at this time. Your responsibilities in this role- Support our existing IT systems administrators and security staff
- Patching and upgrades to support vulnerability remediation
- Assist with maintenance and support of Windows and Linux endpoints and servers including VMs
- Help with escalated trouble tickets when needed
- 3-5 years of experience in a Systems Administration or IT Generalist role with exposure to multiple environments
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux environment administration
- Previous experience patch and upgrading virtual machines in conjunction with VMware
- Strong customer service skills
- Must be able to take initiative and help out when needed
