Senior Structural Engineer, S.E. We are currently looking for a Senior Structural Engineer with professional experience in performing structural engineering and technical services. You will be responsible for independently planning, organizing, and performing a wide variety of structural design and analysis efforts on various engineering projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Performing Structural engineering related calculations and design analysis • Independently completing highly complex engineering projects and writing technical specifications, and reports • Leading the design efforts and performing independent checking and review of the design work of other members of the team • Working with drafters to assemble complete and accurate engineering plans • Providing design oversight and employing a variety of design codes related to the industry. • Coordinating AutoCAD drafting requirements for Structural engineering design projects. • Making sure the team is aligned with government agencies, client staff, and other professionals to obtain design information and approvals. • Demonstrating strong ability to meet project budgets and schedules. • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements: • A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field • S.E. certification •Twelve or more years of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures • Familiar with structural repair, seismic retrofit design, and building materials and methods • Experience with computer software programs and analysis systems (such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, RISA, ETABS, etc.) • Knowledge and experience with the International Building Code (IBC) and US design standards •Good understanding of construction process and activities
