Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS) service delivers high performance block storage in the cloud. Durable storage is a key building block for any application and as a member of the EBS team you'll work alongside outstanding leaders to develop and operate one of the largest storage services in the world. We're a collaborative team full of creative and passionate product managers, working with customers to design and build the technology that powers many of the applications you love. EBS is looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager to join our customer success team. You will lead proactive and reactive customer engagements and develop mechanisms to track and measure how we're delivering on customer expectations of EBS. You will be responsible for managing EBS's product feature requests (PFRs), developing a roadmap of new features, and working with the product team to prioritize top customer requests that raise the bar in customer experience for new and existing EBS customers. You will also be responsible for ensuring the success of EBS existing customers, leading key customer issues (KCI), and ensuring EBS customers are supported to achieve their goals using the service.

The primary responsibilities of the Technical Program Manager include:
  • Lead planning, execution, and delivery tasks of multiple project/programs simultaneously
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and gather customer requirements
  • Develop and implement scalable, data-driven process improvement/automated solutions
  • Develop standard operating procedures, change/communication plans, and project/program-level status updates
  • Anticipate potential issues and risks, and escalate appropriately and in a timely manner.
  • Remain flexible to changing priorities and open to new ideas.
  • Keep the customer experience as the primary focus.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Master's degree in Business, Economics, or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) fields.• 7+ years of experience in program management, project management, or similar business experience in large-scale, complex environments.
