AWS Engineer - Infrastructure/Development for one of its clients in

Job Title: AWS Engineer – Infrastructure/Development

Summary:· Design, develop, document, and thoroughly test your code· Gather and implement technical requirements, such as automation tests, logging, monitoring, and alerting· Build common tools to streamline and standardize development and deployment· Build, support, and deploy AWS infrastructure across Lab and Production environments

Responsibilities:· 5+ years Software Development and/or Cloud and Systems experience with Java (preferred), Python· Proficiency in AWS solutions via CLI or API· Experience with CI/CD tooling such as Jenkins build pipelines, Kubernetes· Solid understanding of build, release, infrastructure as code (Terraform), and networking concepts· Experience with scripting languages: Shell, Python, Groovy· Prior experience with Terraform, and support of OnCall rotations for production support.· Bonus for possession of AWS certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect· Bonus for experience in Backstage and Spinnaker.· Experience testing, automating, and instrumenting your code· Prior experience supporting production cloud workloads· Bonus for understanding of network protocols and troubleshooting ability· Excellent communication Skills.· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or its equivalent with relevant experience
