DeveloperJob Summary: Talent Software Services is in search of a Developer for a contract position in Seattle, WA. The opportunity will be one year with a strong chance for a long-term extension.Position Summary: Expected to have good communication and organization skills so that you successfully maintain relationships with our customers, leadership, product team and the development team through excellent communication and organization skills.
- 10 to 15 years of overall IT experience in application development
- Proven experience as a .NET Developer (7 years or above) or Application Developer
- Familiarity with the .NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns WebAPI, Entity-Framework, WCF services
- Ability to lead a team and work with stakeholders
- Knowledge of at least one of the .NET languages (e.g., C#)
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC)
- Experience working with .NET applications and have appetite for performance and scalability
- Understanding of Agile methodologies
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
- Develop documentation throughout the software development life cycle (SDLC)
- Serve as an expert on applications and provide technical support
- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design and architecture
- Requires minimal direction and/or oversight
- Understands the business supported by their code
- Participate in requirements analysis
- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages
- Test and deploy applications and systems
- Revise, update, refactor, and debug code
- Improve existing software proposing new technical approaches
- Ability to navigate functionality with minimum documentation and navigate code with minimal assistance
