If you're as passionate about your future as we are, join our team.KPMG is currently seeking a Director in Cyber Security Defense - SecOps for our KPMG Consulting practice.Responsibilities:Oversee planning, design, implementation, testing, and operation of cyber security processes and systems

Provide guidance on security architecture for threat detection and response systems used as a part of the overall security operations and fusion centers

Provide direction of business process and security architecture design as it relates security analyst tools for security incident management

Administer security configuration for threat management platforms for a wide array of large-scale environments including security orchestration, automation, and response (SOAR) and security information and event management (SIEM) tools

Develop next generation threat detection solutions leveraging machine learning and AI

Present firm-based approaches and messaging at internal training classes, external events, and client meetings

Work with vendors to discover and secure partnering opportunities

QualificationsA minimum of eight years of experience in Information Security or in a technology related fieldBachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or equivalent experience; CISSP, CEH, CPT, CISM, CISA, CIPP, GIAC, GSEC, and/or GCFW certifications is preferred

Functional certification such as MCSE, CCNA, CNE, CCIE, ServiceNow, and/or Splunk is preferred

Exceptional interpersonal, team building, mentoring, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior level executives

Travel may be up to 80-100%, work in a fast paced, results driven environment, grasp new technology, and contribute at a rapid pace
