We are seeking a talented and motivated Electrical Engineer to work on sensor integration and interconnect solutions.
This candidate must have the ability to work well both independently and in team settings.Some of the key job functions of the Electrical Engineer include:- Work with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including design, validation, testing and certification.
- Work with mechanical engineering to select cables, connectors for the Scout solution. This includes potential design of interconnect or backplane PCBA.
- Work with partners for integration of sensors into the Scout solution. Sensors include: lidar, RADAR and cameras.
- Assist other electrical engineers with design elements, testing, documentation and troubleshooting.
- BS Electrical Engineering (or similar field)
- 4 + years of experience in design
- Experience in schematic entry, layout tools and design for manufacturability
- Experience with cabling, connectors and backplane solutions
- Experience working with partners on requirements, integration and troubleshooting
- MS Electrical Engineering
- Experience designing with safety standards, e.g. ISO26262, IEC 61508
