This role is located within the Core Systems and Platforms (CSP) Organization under the Financial Value Chain business solutions area. Specifically this role will be accountable for the SAP S/4 Solution Architetcure for Financial applications requiring a deep understanding of S/4 Financial accounting, Consolidation and Financial closing procedures.The Senior Solution Architect will:- Lead solution design, and collaborate with delivery execution teams and system integrators for successful roll-out of S/4 HANA Finance and integrated systems within Disney.
- Leverage architecture principles to design effective cross platform solutions to enable business outcomes
- Ensure solutions are secure, scalable and cost-effective
- Drive proof of concept exercises and demos
- Perform third-party vendor assessments
- Document architecture models at multiple levels i.e. conceptual, logical and physical detail diagrams
- Collaborate with cross organizational peers and architects to leverage knowledge and best practice
- Keep up to date with industry and technology trends relevant to the Finance value chain
- Experience working on SAP ECC to S/4 HANA conversion projects
- 8 years in an Solution architect role in a large multinational corporate environment.
- In depth experience in S/4 HANA Finance accounting data model
- Proven experience as a lead SAP Solution Architect.
- Expert in 3rd party and custom e-commerce integration patterns, On Prem and SaaS applications with SAP S/4 HANA Financials as the backend.
- Thought leader in new/emerging technology and its application in business
- Preferred experience automation technologies; Work Fusion, RPA/ML technologies etc
- A strong business finance orientation combined with solid SAP IT technical skills.
- Proven ability to complete projects and achieve results in an ambiguous work environment.
- Proven strong collaboration, negotiation and consensus building abilities.
- Wide experience with a variety of SDLC methodologies across waterfall and agile
- SAP S/4 HANA Financial Certification preferred
- Financial Accounting qualifications would be advantageous.
