Your Career

In this role, you will be responsible for the oversight of the Resident Engineering team for our Professional Services West region. You will be responsible for full Profit/Loss responsibility for Professional Services Consultantsdelivery within the region. You will drive professional services business, provide management oversight to your team and all ongoing engagements, including recruiting, managing, directing and inspiring a team with a diverse set of skills and backgrounds

You will ensure the delivery of Palo Alto Networks solutions, exceeding expectations and driving high levels of customer engagement. This position is critical to the region’s success and will be both tactical and strategic in duties by working closely with sales to ensure customer satisfaction, build relationships with all customers in your territory and ensure customer success and referenceability.

Your Impact

  • Serve as the Regional Leader for your respective teams, ensuring services delivery meets or exceed Customer expectation
  • Manage the activities of the team such as hiring, development, promotions, time off, expense reports, development growth, training, and corrective actions
  • Facilitate a customer first approach across all Global Customer Service (GCS) teams that you and your team interact with
  • Build relationships with customers who have long term engagements to ensure that the timelines are being met, feedback on how the consultants are performing, escalations, etc.
  • Ensure Customer requirements are understood and clear to the team to help enable Customer knowledge and build trusted relationships
  • Collaborate with the sales leadership team(s) to develop GTM strategies for your assigned region, acting as the PS Leadership liaison to help enable client and sales success.
  • Staffing the appropriately skilled resources to accomplish quarterly goals, by ensuring your teams have the appropriate strength levels and/or capacity.
  • Participate in Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR), representing your business performance.
  • Provide input regarding the technical development of the Professional Services product offerings based on your team and Customer feedback
  • Provide strategic direction and input to the technical and professional development of the team members and ensure the same is done for their team members.
  • Handle the daily activities of your team such as hiring, promotions, time off, training, and disciplinary actions and ensure the same is done for their team members
  • 25%travel may be required (subject to public travel restrictions)

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • Minimum 5 year's managing managers; teams of 10 or more technical consultants; Architects; Resident Engineers and other related staff
  • You have strong high-level knowledge of internet security concepts, products, and implementations, and can communicate that knowledge to individuals without technical experience
  • You’ve proven leadership ability, cross-functional collaboration and team building capabilities
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Skilled in key business systems – SFDC, Clarizen, G-Suite preferred
  • Understand Critical Security Controls, Incident Response practices, and Security Operations Center environments a plus
  • Certifications such as CISSP and/or others like PMP
