The eCommerce Fulfillment System Analyst is responsible for defining technical requirements and technical designs that meet the business requirements as communicated by the Product Owner. They are also responsible for ensuring that the design and solution are aligned with the blueprints and technical guidelines established by the System Architect. ROLE Defines technical requirements that support the business/functional requirements communicated by the Product Owner and technology stakeholders.Develops technical specifications by collaborating with technical and non-technical teams, translating functional designs into technical designs, validating macro designs and reviewing micro designs.Translates technical specifications into clear non-technical requirements that can be understood by product owners and other business stakeholdersIdentifies and communicates improvement opportunities (functional and non-functional) to improve product quality and performance.Supports the implementation of best practices for scalability, supportability, ease of maintenance, and system performanceSupports the root cause analysis and remediation process to resolve defects and / or issues reported by product / application teams and stakeholdersDesigns, develops, and executes testing protocols to include: unit testing, integration testing and system testing, as driven by the requirements.Performs 24x7 on-call support as scheduled or as needed. Available to work nights and weekends when necessary to meet the needs of the business.Develops and ensures adherence to establishment of standards, best practices, governances, and patterns.Seeks opportunities to automate, document, share, educate, and improve processes where appropriate.Works well independently and in a team environment.REQUIRED 3-5 years’ of experience configuring, enhancing, and supporting packaged Warehouse Management software (Manhattan PKMS iSeries 2004 and 2009 preferred).Expert domain knowledge of fulfillment business processes.Strong communication skills and ability to tailor communication (both verbal and written) to different audiences (developers, product owners, business users, etc.).Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to logically think through problem situations.Able to work well under pressure and handle crisis situations professionally.Must have proven ability to set and follow priorities and timeline.Self-motivated, flexible and open to learning new things, strong focus on customer needs.Ability to work with limited supervision and exhibit a strong sense of urgency.Ability to effectively teach and mentor less experienced team members.Willingness and ability to travel.Recommended: Warehouse execution system and automation experience.Strong SQL knowledge.Experience working in iterative software delivery methodologies.
