Position Description CGI is seeking a .NET Developer responsible for custom application development following industry best practices. The Application Developer is expected to maintain and produce custom application solutions by working closely with solution architect and business users throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle. This person will work both collaboratively and independently among a team of other application developers in the areas of requirements gathering, learning industry and our client best practices, solution architecture and software development methodology.

Your future duties and responsibilities• Full stack development experience including UI, web, middle-tier, and database required.• .NET, C#, SQL, SSIS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Service Oriented Architecture, MVC, and Web API experience required.• SQL database schema design and development experience required.• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies required.• Clear Communication Skills and Proactive attitude required.• Experience in assisting Business stakeholders and Production Support teams to troubleshoot urgent issues and provide solutions on short notice is required.• Experience with Classic ASP, VB.NET, SSRS is nice to have.• Experience with Git version control preferred.• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery preferred.• Financial services experience preferred.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role• 5-7 years of experience with application design, development, delivery and support on Microsoft Windows platform: Windows, IIS, SQL Server, .net• 5-7 years of experience with agile software development practices, i.e., Scrum//Kanban, TDD, CI/CD• 5-7 years of experience with C#.net, Object Oriented Programming (OOP) and open source frameworks (NuGet) to build MVC web applications and .net services• 4+ years of experience with ASP.NET MVC• Strong demonstrated ability to work directly with technical leads, developers and business stakeholders• Ability to communicate clearly and be a collaborative team player with the ability to interact well with all levels of internal and external personnel and adapt to rapidly changing requirements• Ability to take on new opportunities and tough challenges with a sense of urgency and enthusiasm• Must have strong debugging, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills• Proven ability to complete assigned work in timely and quality manner• Effectively collaborate with peer group (Support and DevOps teams)• Write testable code. Unit tests, Integration tests.• 4+ years of experience with JavaScript. Familiarity with one of the JavaScript frameworks (preferred)• 4+ years of experience with ASP.NET Web Forms• 4+ years of experience with MS-SQL Server and related services and tools: SSIS, SQL Profiler, Query Analyzer• 2+ years of experience with CSS• 2+ years of experience with SSRS• 1+ years of experience with VB.NET• 1+ years of experience with WCF• Utilize development tooling to track and automate software delivery through the SDLC: e.g., Jira, Confluence, Git, TeamCity, Octopus Deploy,• Document and keep application detail up to date on Wiki

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $65K-$115K
