Job Description

​The Product Manager for Customer is responsible for defining and supporting the building of desirable, feasible, viable, and sustainable products that meet business needs. They function as a subject matter resource, promoting and implementing Data Governance standards and best practices while ensuring alignment of key stakeholders across the organization. They conduct analyses, participate in program development, troubleshooting and problem solving, and support the ongoing implementation of the Data Governance Framework (DGF) across the organization. They also interact with key enterprise stakeholders to institutionalize and mature information governance, data quality, and information asset management capabilities.

Responsibilities include:

  • Supports our Migration Strategy to Deliver the exp.o System
  • Supports our efforts to incorporate/deploy ECCO into our overall Migration plan
  • Promotes and enforces Data Governance best practices
  • Analyzes/interprets/documents data requirements and performs current/target/gap/impact analyses
  • Collaborates with other technology and development staff to provide solution alternatives that ensure key deliverables are achieved
  • Proactively communicates with business and IT teams to ensure forward progress
  • Facilitates development of SOPs and SLAs for data controls
  • Provide frequent and organized communication on progress to management
  • Responsible for the on-going build and delivery of all enterprise CRM applications
  • Liaise between Business and Technology, accountable to understand commercial needs, prioritize, lead, and deliver sustainable solutions that satisfy company objectives
  • Listen humbly and objectively to the stated needs of customers and insightfully gather unstated and anticipated needs
  • Negotiate between a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels and pioritize requests for work based on company strategy
  • Build and present process maps that describe the business needs and expected outcomes
  • Seek and document measurable end-user feedback on working software and processes on a regular cadence throughout the development lifecycle

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Expeditors Product & Service knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of Expeditors systems, operational processes, and current data environment
  • Possesses ability for learning technical and business concepts
  • Ability to organize and lead meetings
  • Ability to communicate, collaborate, and negotiate with others
  • Knowledge of data governance practices and business and technology issues related to management of enterprise information assets

  • Willingness to accept change and provide direction
  • Display an intensity to achieve results and a willingness to commit to a direction and drive to completion
  • Demonstrated ability to manage adversity and challenging situations
  • Drive for clarity and practice pushback where appropriate
  • Possesses an advanced knowledge about industry information/data management best practices
  • Certified in relevant SAFe practices including as a DevOps Practitioner, Agilist and Product Owner/Product Manager
  • Active commitment to the Agile Manifesto
