Projects will cover a wide range of clinical pathways with a focus on out of hospital cardiac arrest, traumatic injuries, strokes, sepsis, and opioids. The research assistant will work in a team environment that includes faculty, fellows, medical students, and other key stakeholders. This position may also require working at Northwest and Montlake campuses.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Screen and appropriately enroll eligible subjects on various protocols
Assist with development and maintenance of research databases
Complete data entry for enrolled subjects
Process bio specimens per lab guidelines
Complete literature reviews relating to ongoing research
Perform related duties as requiredAdministrative Responsibilities
Schedule, coordinate, record, and distribute minutes for internal meetings with UW research collaborators
Prepare materials for meetings and workshops
Coordinate Sponsor visitsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Two years of college-level course work in a relevant academic area AND one year of appropriate experience OR equivalent education/experience.ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Well-honed organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
Ability to work with colleagues in a way that enhances collaboration and team building
Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteDESIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in a related academic area.
Prior healthcare experience.
