Primary Purpose: The Salesforce Developer plays an integral role in the Business Solutions team by developing and architecting scalable technical solutions that deliver organizational value and long-term success.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert for solution architecture that will include configuration, development, integration or customization of Salesforce.
  • Development using APEX, Visual Force and other force.com technologies.
  • Support Integration of Data between Salesforce and external sources
  • Perform unit testing and defect fixes.
  • Develop and analyze business requirements with staff
  • Develop solutions in JavaScript and CSS.
  • Responsible for release management of internal Salesforce sprints, including implementing, training and deploying new features and change requests within the Salesforce CRM program.
  • Optimize Salesforce configuration and processes related to system maintenance.
  • Modify, test and document application configuration changes based on organizational priorities and user feedback.
  • Implement advanced data integrity strategies including processes to track data quality.
  • Prioritize end user issues by engaging with end users and implementing solutions.
  • Utilize user feedback to drive efforts to enhance user satisfaction; develop metrics to demonstrate user satisfaction trends.
  • Subject matter expert on all projects that impact Salesforce.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • High School diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience in the administration of Salesforce or other complex CRM systems.
  • Certified Salesforce Developer Certification preferred.
  • Experience with Conga a plus

Required Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:

  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Communicates effectively with individuals at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and organized.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively; able to handle urgent interruptions professionally.
  • Strong functional understanding of systems, databases/database terminology.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Microsoft Excel; familiarity with SharePoint and JIRA a plus.
  • Able to work under pressure and time constraints.
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and confidentiality.
