Senior Cloud Security Consultant | Remote

Huxley is partnered with a large, publicly traded telecommunications company that is looking to add a Senior Cloud Security Consultant to their team. This individual would support their Security Consulting business which delivers high-quality penetration test services to their clients. This consulting practices provides Penetration Testing on Hardware / Embedded, Cloud, Cloud Native, API, Web App, Network, System, IoT, Wireless, and Container Technologies.

This Security Consultant will focus on performing in-depth Penetration Tests and Vulnerability Assessments on client Cloud and Cloud Native environments. Additionally, they will be responsible for publishing white papers, blogs, and speaking at conferences. They are targeting to hire at the Senior, Staff, or Senior Staff levels.

Responsibilities:

Perform Cloud, Cloud Native, Web, API, System, Container Technology, and Network Penetration Tests and Vulnerability Assessments.
Utilize manual code review and white-box penetration testing techniques.
Develop automated tooling.
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.

Qualifications:

3+ years' working experience in Cloud, Cloud Native, Wireless, or Container Pen Testing.
Background in software development and strong ability to write code.
Strong knowledge of common offensive security tools such as Burp Suite, Metasploit, Nmap, etc.
Experience securing Container Orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Rancher, Docker Swarm, OpenShift, etc.).
Ability to communicate effectively with non-technical professionals.
Bachelors' in Computer Science or related degree.

This is a full-time, direct hire role and can sit fully remote from within the US (you must already be in the US for this opportunity). The company can provide sponsorship. Salary depends on level of experience and internal title (Senior, Staff, Senior Staff, etc.).
