- Has experience in leading a team of engineers to ingest log/metrics data from multiple sources and guiding the ingestion process overall.
- Established operational team for monitoring and building pipelines.
- Has experience in Python or Java.
- Experience with AWS or Azure cloud solutions
- Can lead a team of Data engineers in ingestion, dashboarding and knowledge object management
- Good understanding of SPL, Dashboard development, Accelerated searches and other Knowledge objects
- Experience in creating and managing Splunk knowledge objects (field extractions, macros, event types, CIM, data models etc )
- Experience integrating multiple data streams and feeds from networks, infrastructure services, mission/business applications into a near, real-time dashboard for use in troubleshooting.
- Provide Splunk operational troubleshooting support and assist with complex problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors.
- Experience with performing systems testing, including auto scaling configurations
- Experience with interacting with customer configuration and optimization in Splunk
- Knowledge of enterprise logging, including application, OS, and security technology logging
