Find your future with us.The Boeing Company has an exciting opportunity for two Supplier Quality Representative’s in Portland, Oregon or Puget Sound, Washington to join our regional team in the Pacific Northwest. Our teams are currently hiring for experience levels including; Experienced and Senior Level.The BCA Supplier Quality organization is responsible for oversight of the suppliers’ QMS, evaluating product quality improvement plans and driving cross functional joint efforts in the right direction. Our role responsibility is based on, our Quality Management System (QMS) and our contracts with our suppliers, to ensure that all of our products meet our type designs and get there with proper compliance.Our team members enjoy and meet the challenges of working remotely, with requirements to travel up to 75% of the time. Our team members recognize and appreciate the autonomy, trust and judgment granted to them, to ensure the oversight of our suppliers. Use of a personal vehicle is required for company business; Boeing will reimburse at mileage rate per applicable company policy.Position Responsibilities:Leads audits and assessments of complex supplier's systems, processes and products.

Documents and reports audit and assessment results.

Delegates product acceptance responsibility to suppliers.

Assesses capability and capacity of suppliers to perform current or potential future work.

Provides education and coaching on quality systems, regulatory compliance issues and company initiatives.

Develops training materials and other resources to support improvements in supplier performance and productivity.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.Basic Qualifications:1+ years of hands on experience with special processes (heat treatment of metals, welding, brazing, chemical processes/finishes and coatings, composite hardware manufacturing processes, metal bonding processes, non-destructive testing) and/or special process auditing.

Capable of traveling up to 75% of the time

1+ years of experience in Quality Management Systems (QMS)

+3 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications:+5 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

5+ years’ experience do you have conducting/leading QMS Audits.

Experience with mixed technologies – Aerospace Quality Systems, Chemical Processes, Composites, Heat Treat, Materials Testing Laboratories, Non-destructive Testing, Surface Enhancement, Welding

Experience with the application of improvement methodologies such as (Lean, Theory of Constraints and/or Six Sigma) to achieve measurable results.

Proficient in MS Office tool suite and project management software tools

5+ years’ experience using analytical, collaboration, communication and organizational skills.

3+ years’ experience with project leadership leading cross-functional teams.

Working knowledge of various quality tools and processes such as FMEA, control plans, SPC and MSA

Working knowledge of ISO9001, AS9100 and AS9145
