Come help us build and scale an Alexa-wide program that is rooted in customer obsession and continuous CX improvement! The Alexa North Star Design team is looking for a UX Researcher who will help grow Alexa Experience Insights (AXi), an insight catalog containing UX Research, Market Research, and Beta results. AXi's mission is to increase the availability of customer insights in product decisions and surface problems that matter most for Alexa customers, globally on all platforms.This is a unique opportunity to be a meta-researcher and facilitate processes that increase the impact of researchers in teams across the Alexa and Devices organization. In this role, you will be responsible for working with researchers to help them frame their insights in the collaborative AXi catalog. Your work will amplify individual researchers' outputs by connecting related evidence across studies and tagging teams that could address key customer problems.This role requires a self-starter who can not only see strategic trends across large sets of research data, but also roll up your sleeves and improve data on individual insights as they are submitted by contributors. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, has excellent judgment, and a passion for process improvement. You must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and not be hindered by ambiguity while navigating stakeholder input from across a complex organizational structure.What you'll do: Work with researchers to drive input of evidence-based insights while maintaining a high bar for insight catalog content Apply metadata that makes new connections across research and surfaces key customer needs Gather diverse researcher perspectives on targeted insights to cultivate collaboration across research teams Create "what we know" briefs on insight topics requested by product teams Create reports that summarize insight catalog activity and content, driving visibility and engagement with PM, Design, and LeadershipBasic Qualifications 3+ years of applied industry experience conducting UX research. Bachelor's in Human-Centered Design, Human Factors, Cognitive/Experimental Psychology, Cognitive Science, Anthropology, or related discipline. End-to-end experience with all aspects of the user research lifecycle, with an emphasis on detail-oriented analysis and coding of evidence to create compelling insights. Applied experience in a range of research methods, including usability testing, remote testing, concept evaluation, field research, and survey design.
