Part-time Barista - Family Friendly Bakery Café.
Compensation: +/- $28/hr including Tips
Urban Bakery at Green Lake, Seattle is looking for a friendly, experienced, and reliable barista!
We are a long community-friendly bakery café located at Green Lake, Seattle, looking for a team member who is motivated and willing to grow with us. We pride ourselves in serving South Italian tradition coffee beans and are looking for baristas who know what it means to pull a good shot and who would love to learn how to be a barista.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Opening/closing the business.
Preparing various espresso-based drinks, blended drinks, smoothies, sodas and etc.
Serving a variety of food items such as pastries, sandwiches, salad, quiche, soup, and etc.
Maintain a clean and stocked environment.
Cash-handling - opening/closing cash drawer while utilizing Square POS system.
Professional and courteous with coworkers and customers as this can be a fast-paced environment and you need to be able to work well under pressure.
Reliability and a strong work ethic are required as some shifts require you to be working independently. Hours may range from 8 AM to 5 PM but we are specifically looking for someone to work 3- 5 shifts during the week (15-30 hours a week).
