Now hiring Deli Helper Clerks!
Main Job Responsibilities
Provide excellent, professional customer service
Perform basic food preparation in accordance with PCC recipes
Counter and barista service
Dishwashing and cleaning in the deli and production areas
Packaging and retail merchandising
Ensure department sanitation, cleanliness and safety standards are met
Become knowledgeable about deli products, specialty foods, baked goods and prepared foods
Accurately and efficiently scan and key deli items and incidentals into deli register when assigned
Accountability
Reports to: Deli Manager
Qualifications
Proven ability to perform excellent, professional customer service
Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
Able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
Previous food preparation experience preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of coffee and specialty and prepared foods preferred
Basic math skills for measurement and scale functions
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to meet physical requirements of standing, twisting, bending, repetitive motion and lifting 10-40lbs regularly
Must be at least 18 years of age
