SERVER
We are looking to hire an experienced server who is passionate about Japanese cuisine and looking to work in a positive team environment. The purpose of this position is to interact with our guests by offering insight and guidance to Japanese cuisine and culture while ensuring they have a memorable dining experience. Servers are responsible for positive guest interactions and are expected to be attentive by making them feel welcome, comfortable, important and relaxed. Additionally servers are expected to have some basic cooking knowledge of Japanese food and general beverage knowledge including sake while having a firm command of all menu items and seasonal dishes. Ideal candidates will posses the following skills and traits:
+ Minimum 2 years serving experience in a upscale restaurant
+ Certified sake specialist / Sommelier is a plus
+ Knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture
+ Bilingual Japanese/English is a plus
+ Positive attitude
+ Ability to multitask
+ Thrives in a team environment
SERVER'S ASSISTANT / BUSSER / HOST
Excellent customer service skills and ability to multitask required. Must be team oriented with a positive attitude and have prior restaurant experience. Japanese food and drink knowledge is a plus.
