We are seeking candidates for a full time busser at Barking Frog, the award winning fine-dining restaurant at Willows Lodge.
SUMMARY
Facilitates food service by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Carries dirty dishes from dining room to kitchen.
Wipes table tops and chairs with damp cloth.
Sets tables with silverware, glassware and linens.
Replenishes supply of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes in dining room.
Serves ice water and tapénade to patrons.
Delivers room service orders to guest rooms in hotel.
Completes sidework responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers. Ability to print and speak simple sentences.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers and to multiply and divide with 10's and 100's. Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
FOOD & BEVERAGE PERMITS
Must have a current Washington State food handler permit and alcohol server permit on file.
