Location: Issaquah, WA Hatchery
Pay Rate: $17.74 per hour
Hours: Full time, Monday to Friday
Shifts Available: Day & Night Shift Available
Shift Times: Day is 8 am to 4:30 pm, Night is 4 pm to 12:30 am
Length of Assignment: 2+ Months
What’s a typical day as a Fin Clipper? You’ll be:
Performing routine fish identification duties - You will be responsible for tasks such as coded-wire tagging, fin clipping, body tagging, elastomer and freeze brand marking, and other required markings.
Cleaning and sanitizing - You will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing the trailer, work areas, restrooms, breakrooms, and other areas used by employees.
Assisting the lead/hatchery staff - You will assist the lead/hatchery staff in various duties, including inspection for quality of marking, trailer set up, and transfer of fish from ponds or net pens to the trailer.
Administering employment paperwork - You will be responsible for administering employment paperwork to new hires, such as employment applications, releases, and I-9 forms.
