Adult Family Home Weekend LIVE-IN caregiver
Shift:
Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm
HCA, NA-R, or CNA certification.
DSHS certificates in mental health and Developmental disabilities required.
AFH in Bellevue is looking for a weekend live-in caregiver that has mental health experience. Understanding and communicating with mental health clients is required.
The home serves men with high functioning mental health and DD diagnosis. The age rage is 52-83. As long as the food is great, they’re happy. Overall, the home is quiet and there is downtime throughout the day.
NO hands on care, transfers, or personal care. They are all independent with ADLs.
Duties include med administration, reminders, cooking, laundry, and occasionally addressing behavior issues.
Residents sleep through the night. A few will get up to go to the bathroom or go into kitchen for water at night.
Because the residents are independent with their ADLs, you may leave the home for a few hours a day if needed.
Accommodation: Private bedroom and shared bathroom
